| My daughter has had this from about 6 months old (she is now 4) and still plays with it. The star is a squeaky button, which we didn't discover for ages! The little beads make a lovely, gentle sound, and it easy for little hands to shake. Now she is older, she uses it as a rattle for singing along to, and is still transfixed by the movement of the beads. | All young babies like to watch colours and moving objects so this Shake Rattle and Roll would be perfect. Its very similar to the rain-makers you can get, but this one also has a squeaky button too. This rattle is very stimulating for young children as they can either listen to the sound of the beads rolling through to the bottom or shake it you could even roll it along the floor and let your young child watch it or catch it and roll it back.
